‘Research Methods in Early Childhood: An Introductory Guide’ by Penny Mukherji and Deborah Albon
Book Review by Maureen O'Hagan
Methodologies, ethics, techniques - it’s all there.
Maureen O'Hagan has been involved in aspects of childhood and training in child care for many years. She has worked in hospitals, colleges, awarding bodies and currently works to support Post-graduate students as well as continuing to write. Maureen set up the first Orthodox Jewish child care training course in the country. Not an easy task when the emphasis is always on equality and inclusion. She worked for CACHE (Council for Awards in Children's Care and Education) for several years, maintaining the standards of high quality products and clear assessment for candidates and trainers. During that time she began to write text books which have become key factors in the success rates of childcare training including Care and Education in Early Childhood published by Nelson Thornes. Maureen is a member of the Webmag Board.
