I have worked within the feild of chldren and young people for the last 7 years and completed much training which was to give me a under standing of what i do to help young people, but this course gave me more of an understanding that the positives need to be more looked at rather than sanctions. i look at the relationship with the young person more to see why they did what they did and work with them more to address their issues and concerns. I believe that social pedagogy is the way forward within social care and that all providers should provide workshops for all their employee's.
